What cosmic horror should be. This movie is perfection. The characters are complex and played by amazing actors (Jennifer Jason Leigh s a Queen), the imagery and setting requires another watch just to take it all in, and the creatures…wow! Ecological cosmic horror at its finest.
This is what movies like The Tommyknockers and Color Out of Space wish they were. (No shade, I enjoyed those movies)
I’m glad I waited a day to review because this is an intellectual horror movie that benefits from processing it slowly. I even had nightmares about it.
